Practicum A - Subtle Body Practicum (5.00 hours)
Students will teach 5 hours of group yoga classes or individual sessions with a focus on the 5 elements, 9 emotions, 7 chakras, 5 koshas, and/or yamas and niyamas
Practicum B - Structures Practicum (5.00 hours)
Students will teach 5 group classes focused on neck/shoulders, lower back, feet, knees, legs, hips, arms or hands.
Practicum C - Mental Health Practicum (5.00 hours)
Students will teach 5 hours of group classes for mood management.
Practicum D - Private Sessions Practicum (15.00 hours)
Students will see several clients 3 to 10 times for a minimum of 15 contact hours. Students will develop a specific program for each client and submit session reports to be reviewed by lead trainer.

Teaching Methodology and The Business of Yoga
This class is for students working toward their 200-hour Art of Yoga Certificate,
Students will take classes from different suggested teachers and breakdown theses classes through session reports submitted to Nya Patrinos. The cost of the outside classes is not included in the fee for this course. This course will analysis of sessions taken by the students through the lenses of the class structure, eight limbs of yoga, the panchakosha system, theming, sequencing, adjusting and assisting.
90 minute Therapeutic Yoga Private Session
90 minute private Yoga Therapy Session with certified Yoga Therapist, Nya Patrinos. This session integrates yoga, breathwork and guided meditation.

Yogic body scans are guided meditation exercises that encourage present-moment awareness during which sensations of the body are used as an anchor for the practice. The benefits of body scanning include pain management, stress and anxiety reduction, and improved sleep.
Yogic body maps are diagrams used after a body scan to process the experience, first personally and then with a guide or teacher. These maps can contain words, symbols, colors and/or images. No art or literary background is necessary.
This workshop explores using body scan meditation in group and one on one yoga classes as a tool for inquiry, pain management, stress reduction, self-care, and transformation. During the workshop participants will practice guiding body scans, explore using body mapping in an individual or group yoga class, and how to develop a yoga class based on information received in a client’s body scan and map.
The class is registered with Yoga Alliance for 7 CEUs. It counts as 7 hours toward Art of Yoga 200 and 300-hour yoga teacher training. The workshop is open to everyone interested in yoga, meditation, and healing. A certification of completion will be given to everyone who attends the course.
