Practicum A - Subtle Body Practicum (5.00 hours)
Students will teach 5 hours of group yoga classes or individual sessions with a focus on the 5 elements, 9 emotions, 7 chakras, 5 koshas, and/or yamas and niyamas
Practicum B - Structures Practicum (5.00 hours)
Students will teach 5 group classes focused on neck/shoulders, lower back, feet, knees, legs, hips, arms or hands.
Practicum C - Mental Health Practicum (5.00 hours)
Students will teach 5 hours of group classes for mood management.
Practicum D - Private Sessions Practicum (15.00 hours)
Students will see several clients 3 to 10 times for a minimum of 15 contact hours. Students will develop a specific program for each client and submit session reports to be reviewed by lead trainer.

This class is for students working toward their Art of Yoga 200-hour Certificate.
Students will design, practice and teach 20 hours of Yoga classes with direct mentoring from Nya Patrinos, Live on Zoom.
Teaching Assignments include
- (4) 15 minute classes including an opening quote from the Yoga Sutras, a warm up sequence, forward bend, backward bend, twist and closing,'
- (6) 30 minute classes that include an opening quote from the Bhagavad Gita, warm up, forward bend, backward bend, core stabilization, balancing posture, hip opener, inversion and a closing.
- (2) 45-minute classes that include a quote from the Bhagavad Gita or Yoga Sutras, opening, mudra, pranayama, warm up, forward bend, backward bend, core stabilization, balancing, arm balancing, hip opener, inversion, guided imagery/meditation, and a closing.
- (3) 60 minute classes that include a quote from the Bhagavad Gita/Yoga Sutras, opening, mudra, pranayama, warm up, forward bend, backward bend, core stabilization, balancing, arm balancing, hip opener, inversion, guided imagery/meditation and a closing.
- Students will teach a 30-minute Yin Class that includes a quote deom the Tao Te Ching.
- Students will teach a seven pose 30 to 40 minute chakra oriented restorative class. Holding each pose for 5 minutes
- Students will design, practice and teach a 30-40 minute class based on the Hindu or Taoist 5 Elements.

We will practice 30 - 45 minutes of Yoga, 10-15 minutes of meditation, and 45 minutes to an hour of creativity exercises. Please bring writing materials and your favorite art/journaling/collage supplies. There will be lots of options for developing creativity. If you are a painter you can paint. If you are a writer you can write. If you enjoy making collages bring those supplies. If you are yoga teacher developing a sequence bring your mat and paper. If you want to explore different media each time that's great too! Bring your tools of choice.
