Lalita has fifteen variations of herself who in turn are also moon goddesses, they are called Nityas (Sanskrit for Eternities). Lalita’s Nityas are associated with the waxing moon, which is the new moon and the next fourteen days.

Her smile is ever more enticing than Her shapely breasts. Both nourish the world. She sips from jewele ad cup of nectar. She glances fondly at the red lotus of long stem that blossoms in the warmth of Her Hand. In a pot at Her feet shines all the wealth, from those whole love is true.
Let the mind rest in the lap of the Fair One who is seated upon the great lotus of silence. her face is radiant with bliss. her glance is gentle and sidelong. Sher glows with golden light and is wrapped in golden silk. In Her hand, she holds the golden lotus. She is the compassionate protectress, beautiful to gaze upon, and only to be adored. One is at peace in Her presence.
The Goddess is like a gorgeous flower to who all swarm, as bees seek nectar. Her fragrance soothes the mind. She who holds the noose and the goad, the bow and the arrows. None can resist Her charm. She is adorned with offerings of garlands and gems and kunkum powder in deepest red, yet She outshines these decoratings like a rose in full bloom.

She wears the marriage thread tied about her neck by the One who is beyond desire.

Her necklace is strug with a locket of pearl, as well as myriad gemstones and crystals, all equslly precious to her.
She allows Herself to be worshiped only by the One who truly loves.
Her breasts hang above Her navel like ripe fruit on the vine.
Her waist is barely visible.
Her abdomen has soft folds, as though a golden belt were wound three times around the flesh of Her belly.
She ties a scarf, red as sunrise, around Her hips.
She wears jewels and tinkling bells beneath her skirts.
Her soft thighs have been touched only by the light.
Her ruddy knees are like crowns of precious ruby.
