Do you want to make a difference but are not sure how? Are you ready to explore your racial biases and blind spots? This training is open to everyone who wants to elevate themselves and fight against injustice. No matter your race, you have a role to play in the alleviation of human suffering. Learn yoga and meditation techniques to undo racism and decolonize yoga. Explore embodied practices to heal personal, historical, and inter-generational racism. Join us as we plot, plan, strategize, organize, and mobilize the yoga community toward a culture of inclusion, equality, social justice, healing, and transformation. Change the world one body at a time starting with your own.
This training is open to all people interested in deconstructing racism and decolonization. Formal yoga study or certification is not required to take this course. However, If you are a yoga teacher and would like to receive continuing education units this training is registered with Yoga Alliance for 24 CEUs.
